We haven't vanished into thin air

For those of you who have all but given up on us, we are still alive! There is much to catch up on, but dial-up is really a bummer and that's all we've got at home right now. Pictures don't want to cooperate with the slow speeds we're working with. We have a .mac account that we are officially moving to, so you can hop on over to web.mac.com/thelambfamily to get the latest on us. We might have a breakthrough in the hi-speed world here in the boonies, so hopefully in a week or so we'll be getting some good stuff up and going on the .mac site. Thanks for checking in and we'll see you at the new site!

"Happy music for happy people"

If only you were at our house last night. Nate has a new favorite show. It's not CSI or Law & Order. Not even Matlock. I think this tops them all. It's the "Big Joe Polka Show". You have to see it to believe it, but it was one of the most entertaining nights of television we've had in a long time.

Check out "Big Joe" at : http://www.rfdtv.com/shows/bigjoe.asp

Where a kid can be a kid

Remember the days of Showbiz Pizza? We have entered the world of Chuck E. Cheese. Emily is a monster on the punch a duck game. You'll also see some pics from the harvest party. Cinderella was accompanied by the world's cutest bunny rabbit.

Dave Hodge!

As promised, I did go over and find Dave while he was here. I think he forgave me for the blind conversation.

Is there anybody out there?

I promise you we haven't fallen off the face of the earth! We're still here, just infrequently at the moment. There are many stories and pictures to come!

I am such a nerd

Have you ever had a phone conversation with someone where you totally know their voice, but you can't place it for anything? I had one of those tonight. First off, I was referred to as Julie Gafford. That puts it back to high school/college days. I thought that if we kept talking something would ring a bell. I kept trying to make their voice sound like someone else's, but it just wasn't coming together for me. But I knew that I knew them well enough that I SHOULD KNOW! Ahh. So, Dave Hodge, if you're out there (and I'm going to find you tomorrow) I AM SUCH A NERD! I totally should've known. It's just been too stinkin' long. What gave it away, you ask? The message on the answering machine that I heard way too late...saying this is Dave Hodge. I am SO sorry!

Hainlen's Orchard

On Saturday, we went to the apple orchard with the Womacks. Elisha and Emily had fun looking at all the apples and pumpkins. Emily picked out her "favorite pumpkin". Of all of the pumpkins she could've chosen, she chose one that was perfect just for her. When we went inside to sample some cider and see what goodies we should take home, Nate and I found the best caramel apples we've ever tasted. They were the perfect snack for the ride home. I'm almost tempted to go back out there to get another one!

A whole new world

We have entered the world of the exer-saucer!
